I just finished two new works, and I'm very happy how they turned out. I feel I accomplished what I was trying to do. In the river painting my goal was to capture the intense New Mexico light, as well as the feeling of solitude and peace. In the second one I was trying to capture the sense of reverence of the momment, as well as the intense contrast of light.
